Oh my good golly gosh, that map is sizable. You know you don't have to cram everything you want to into a second installment; that's what numbers like 3, 4 and 5 are for. Still, it's great hearing the project (and thus, us regular folk) haven't been abandoned. I'll be on the look out for it in April. If it's not out by then, well...I'll be sad i suppose.

Are you afraid that making the second one MASSIVE might bite you on the ass? I've done this same thing with sequels before and they were not as popular as the first one... kinda sucks.
It's cool to go episodic with your games but trying to make each one better than the last has a lot of risk associated with it. Just something to keep in mind. If you can break the story up some you can release the second part as two games which mitigates some of the risk.
Just some thoughts from someone who has been burned.
Very good thoughts JackSmack. We are aware of how too much content can actually hurt a game and we're trying to balance the best possible gaming experience with the amount of content we want to deliver... The game may be broken into two parts, but I think we've found the ideal amount of playtime. Perhaps I'll enlist your feedback concerning length when the game is in beta. :)

What JackSmack said it's true, the first game is always the best of a serie. But if you work hard in the sequels and make the elements of the game better than the previous one the people could like it like the first one.
The first one was so disturbing (seeing a little girl getting sucked dry by a huge spider and then get thrown to the ground, for example) so i expect this one to be even more disturbing and awesome ;)

Nice, but are we going to go back to the house now? Or are you just skipping that part of the story? If you were skipping the part of the story where we go home by following the rocks, why should we pick them up in the first place? Or is the whole travel back home and back out trough the forest just a movie clip?

Don't worry, take your time! It was a beautiful game the first time, and you're putting your hearts into this one! When it comes out I will look very closely to every detail. I love the story, I love how you tell the story, but most of all I LOVE the way you paint and design! I'm just so excited! : D Please, keep up the good work!
