There are enough negative comments on this post to warrant a response. I, too, want the new Gretel and Hansel to drop, but people, you need to relax. It takes a long time to get everything together for games of this quality. It's not just one guy throwing everything in the pot; this game is a collaborative effort (especially for the art and music portions), and sometimes, the schedules just don't coincide. Aside from this being one of the most beautiful games I've ever played, it's FREE for all of us to play. I have the feeling, however, that the Gretel and Hansel series were not free of cost to make. If you really want this game to come out sooner, offer your services; otherwise, quit whining.

Actually, the fact that the game is taking a while is a nonissue here. I'm PO'd that he can't post an update once in a while.

Most PORN games I've seen have a freaking development blog. There's no reason to not pop in every now and then.

Hey I for one am huge fan of your games. Please ignore the negative comments, please do not rush the project and mess it up. Just take however long is needed to make it as good as the others. Personally, I think the wait is worth it.

And for everyone leaving negative comments...please don't drive another person to quit...

I just don't see why it's so hard to say, "hey guys, the project is still making progress, please be a little more patient," or something while you're on here playing stuff.

Point is, I've been checking here twice a week for over a year. I was SUPER stoked to play your game. Now I don't care if it comes out or not.

I think the point it's not that Gretel and Hansel didn't come out in time, it's understandable that a game take a long time to be ready. I think that will be more correct from Makopudding to leave a message where he say: "Sorry for the delay, the game is still in progress, please patient a little bit". If he really use this account to play on newgrounds i find really hard to believe that he didn't find 2 minutes to write some line to update us, especially after the great success it has had on his game and after all the requests for information.

Okay, I know someone else has made a similar comment, but I think a bit more detail is needed.
Look, this Gretel and Hansel game is a hobby. We don't pay him each time an installment comes out. And this may come as a shock, but makopudding is an actual person with an actual life, most likely an actual job.
And here's a thought. Think about how great this game is. Games like these take time. Designing characters, backgrounds, story, the various puzzles and deaths, then actually making the game, testing and fixing the bugs. Now think of trying to manage that on top of other life responsibilities. Now think of trying to do all this while "fans" are complaining.
The internet's a big place. Amuse yourselves with something else, give the man some time, and be appreciative when it does come out. As internetshadow0000 said earlier, the last thing we want to do is make another talented artist quit because of inane comments.
