I started playing this again, because that game 'Don't Starve' sparked the nostalgia... saddened to see that there hasn't been a part three in ages. I remember playing the game back in the day, my medals were still present.
I would love if one day Makopudding would just release Gretel and Hansel as a single game on steam with all three parts included. I would pay big money for it.

You don't owe us anything, even an update on your well being, as you've already given us 2 incredible Gretel and Hansel games for free, but it would be nice to hear from you. I wish you good luck and joy in your future endeavors. I'll still check back from time to time. I played the games first when I was probably 11 or 12, and I'm 21 now and still love playing the games just as much. Even if we never see anything else from you, you did good dude. Everytime I check this account for updates of H&G 3, I'm getting sad. In 2018 I was so happy that there was an update years after H&G 3 was announced. I had hope, that this would be it and the game will be finished soon. Now theres only silence. I mean, I wouldn't be sad if makopudding would say that he threw the game away. That would be totally okay! But no interaction with the fans is just meh - because so many were waiting years for it.

i was playing a game that reminded me of gretal and hansel because it was something i fondly remembered playing way back in highschool. i loved everything about it so i tried looking around for updates or anything and saw that there was an update but i was way back in 2018. a shame these games havent made it to something like steam or something like psn or switch because i feel they are on that level of polish. started looking for a twitter page or something to follow while i wait for more news but couldnt find anything. hope everything is alright and no pressure if something came up. i loved the first two games and they are great on their own. i just wanted you to know that your game is a memory i have kept since you first dropped them on the site and would love to see more. times are rough nowadays so i understand if you are going through something.

@runa229 Nothing really, I know for a fact the creator is still alive however I'm not sure they're working on the game anymore, I'm actually working on a video about the two games and the cancelled sequel, I'll shoot you a link if I ever release it haha
